Keynote Presentation: Positioning Yourself in the Workplace in an AI Era

Artificial intelligence is changing how people find work, perform their jobs, and demonstrate their value in the workplace. This session explores how newcomers can position themselves for success as AI becomes more common across industries and occupations.

We will look at practical ways to use AI during the job search and in the workplace, while also considering the human skills that are becoming increasingly important. Participants will explore how critical thinking, judgement, communication, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively with AI can help them navigate a changing employment landscape.

The session will include practical examples and strategies that participants can apply as they look for work, enter new workplaces, and develop their careers in an AI era.
